Life More Abundant ~ Rev. Judy, Feb 5,
2012 20:8 We often have a narrow definition of abundance. We tend to focus on the surface of our lives, on conspicuous symbols of what abundance is 'supposed' to look like. True abundance is based on our very own inner experience and not exterior conditions. It is a fundamental sense of well-being, fulfillment, freedom and trusting life. It is the deepest, purest expression of each of our fullest potential, which is already present. Abundance is living a full, passionate, meaningful life. "Acceptance is not wimping
out"~Rev. Glenda Jan. 22, 2012 18:25 When everything is flowing according to our idea of how things should be, it’s easy to feel in harmony with the rhythms of the universe. When there is a lack of alignment between what we want and how our life is unfolding, we’re more likely to feel disharmony, stress, or frustration. Yet it is our resistance to what is happening in the present moment that intensifies our distress. it is the frightening stories we tell ourselves about our situation that magnify our pain. The invitation is to accept the moment as it is. Added: 17 days ago From: Glenda Views: 51 | Comments: 0

Acceptance Isn't Wimping Out ~ Rev.
Judy, Jan 22, 2012 15:5 Acceptance is a one-way ticket to a more wise and loving life. On the surface acceptance looks passive but it is actually active, engaged and creative. Complete acceptance allows us to open to hidden possibilities and the pure potential of our circumstances in such a way as to help us bring about something new. When we do not accept the present moment we are actually in resentment of life on life's terms. Giving up the need to be in control allows us to surrender to the immediacy of the moment, go with the flow of life. Acceptance means taking life back so we can move on in peace. Remodel Your Brain ~ Rev. Judy, January
15, 2012 21:43 What we think and what we say determines the life we experience. It is important to become aware of our thinking style so that we can interrupt our habitual thought process and observe it. We are always encircled by our own ideas and constantly influenced by what we say to ourselves. Through the gift of our physiology, our Divine DNA, the ability of our human brain to change as a result of experiences gives us the capacity for transformation where we can actually shift our relationship with life through the thoughts we hold. We can create new circuits in our brains that have the power to transform the way we perceive the world, how we think, and how we act. Added: 24 days ago From: Glenda Views: 112 | Comments: 0

Hope Rules ~ Rev. Judy, Jan. 8, 2012
16:5 A hopeful life can have sad days. Hope sees the promise and possibility in the moment. It is a simple fact, some thoughts are worth thinking, others are not. We get to choose our thoughts especially when negativity comes up. Asking ourselves the question: "What is there for me to see about this situation that I may not be seeing yet?" helps us spend more time viewing life through hopeful eyes and less time worrying and trying to figure out why we are unhappy to begin with. To avoid discouragement we are invited to realize that obstacles come from the same source as everything else. God isn’t only in the good moments. You Go First ~ Rev. Judy, Dec. 11, 2011
19:54 To have the capacity to truly give and receive we must remember who we really are by paying attention to our own mental, emotional and spiritual well being. When we are in touch with our own radiant divinity we can move from learning how to simply survive in the world to graciously connecting with others through acts of giving and receiving gifts of every kind. We must have a sense of self from which to give and receive. Caroline Myss, in her book Invisible Acts of Power, tells us: "Without a sense of self we build agendas into everything that we do. An insecure person finds it difficult if not impossible to truly give to someone else because he or she views all others as competitors." If we want to experience a joy filled life, we do so not by looking forward to joyful things but by looking forward from an inner flame of joy. Giving & Receiving ~ Rev. Judy,
Dec. 4. 2011 19:40 The act of giving and receiving is meant to be joyful. It is a blessed opportunity to connect with others. A gift's most important message is, “I am thinking of you.” No matter how pretty or expensive a gift is, what really counts is that we care; that we take the time to invest in the happiness of someone else." If through the act of giving and/or receiving you feel you have lost something or are not appreciative; or if the exchange is done grudgingly, then the gift is not truly given or received. The intention behind giving and receiving is important. The Universe operates through dynamic exchange ~ giving and receiving. If we want to be blessed with all good things in life we must learn to silently bless others with all good things. If we want joy or love or attention or appreciation, we must learn to give those things as gifts to others. What We Give is What We Receive . Added: 67 days ago From: Glenda Views: 218 | Comments: 0

Wandering~Rev. Glenda Nov 13, 2011
17:7 One of the most important spiritual practices is to live our life in a way that we never LOSE ourself. It means living an AUTHENTIC LIFE where we stayed rooted, grounded in our humanity. We become totally present with whatever our life has shown us. It is knowing that home is inside and always with us. Eckhart Tolle says when we lose touch with our INNER STILLNESS we lose touch with ourself. Come home to the stillness as you begin to wander Added: 87 days ago From: Glenda Views: 196 | Comments: 0

Wandering ~ Rev. Judy, Nov 13, 2011
31:9 Our human journey is about Wanderings and Coming Home. Our journey is not about a destination but rather it is about discovery and direct experience of all of life. Our Wanderings take us into times of losing clarity and forgetting who we really are; into feelings of loneliness and being cut off, lost and not belonging; moments where we are confused and lacking in trust. Coming Home is an incredible undertaking; an endless adventure of boundless opening to a kind of grace that pulls us forward on our soul's journey of becoming awake, aware, and purposeful humans. Coming Home is about remembering the ground of Being that is our Original Essence, our radiant Divinity. J D Salinger says: "“All we ever do our whole life is go from one little piece of Holy Ground to the next.” Our work is to remember that. Added: 87 days ago From: Glenda Views: 183 | Comments: 0

Home Sweet Home ~ Rev. Judy Nov. 6, 2011
19:46 True Home can be found only in the here and now. It is experienced when we say ‘yes’ to belonging wherever we find ourselves in the moment, no matter what. When we remember who we are we come back home to our divine self. Right where I stand, ‘I’m home’. Home Sweet Home is available with every step, with every breath. Just like the parable of the Prodigal Son, we can always return home any moment we choose. There are reasons everywhere to feel at home but often we don’t connect with them. MARIANNE WILLIAMSON says: “I have lived large parts of my life in wonderful circumstances that I utterly failed to appreciate”. Eckhart Tolle tells us: wherever you are, be there totally. Our work is to make ‘home’, wherever you are whatever we do, reflect divine beauty and the richest happiest possibilities for all life. Remember: wherever you go, there you are. Check Your Assumptions ~ Rev. Judy,
October 23, 2011 24:12 If we are going to make assumptions, why not assume the universe will support our soul's journey? Don Miguel Ruiz tells us that when we are not clear, we tend to make assumptions, we believe we are right about the assumptions; and then defend our assumptions. This habit creates a lot of inner conflict and a sense of separation. Actually, we don’t know as much as we think we do. We accept things as true without proof and make assumptions based on what appears reasonable and justified. Dropping our assumptions and conclusions can be difficult. However, what we think we know is often the obstacle to peace and happiness. When we make conclusions about what is, what was, and what will be, we narrow our experience of life and limit possibilities. Added: 106 days ago From: Glenda Views: 238 | Comments: 0

Theory of Holes~Rev, Glenda Oct.16, 2011
14:33 A hole is a place in us where our original Essence is lost. Where self esteem is lost there is a hole. Where joy is lost there is a hole. Where kindness is lost there is a hole. Where compassion is lost there is a hole. Where love is lost there is a hole. If we feel invisible un loveable, sad, depressed, there is a big hole. At times we can identify the wound, sometimes we can not. It can happen that we discover it by looking at what excesses are happening in life. Too much drugs alcohol, food, work, drama. Once we begin to shine the light and if we are open the healing begins. And then to heal we must let Spirit pass over the hole. A hole is an opening for Spirit to do Its work. God is in the darkness of our deepest holes too. Added: 115 days ago From: Glenda Views: 169 | Comments: 0

Theory of Holes ~ Rev. Judy, Oct.16,
2011 19:25 A.H. Almaas invites us to gain clarity and insight by "listening through the ‘holes’ of our human experience". In many cases, the quality of our present moment is a result of fears, pain, and losses that have occurred in our human journey. The loss of love, self esteem, clarity, pleasure, strength and motivation create 'holes' in our perceptions. Usually these losses result from an inadequacy of our early experiences. Over time our essential Essence becomes lost and hidden from us leaving vacant holes. When this happens our soul loses contact with its Beingness. We become cut off from the qualities of our own Essence, our own Divinity. We feel as if we have a hole inside us that is empty. We must have the courage to rediscover and recover these lost parts of ourselves. If we do not embrace and understand these 'holes', we will endlessly seek to 'fill' them with value from outside ourselves. Added: 116 days ago From: Glenda Views: 234 | Comments: 0

Highest Self ~ Rev. Judy, October 9,
2011 15:22 The Buddha said that each person must be a lamp unto themselves. Bringing forth the light of our Being ~ our Highest Self ~ can be a challenge since each of us have two energies within us, our humanity and our divinity. These energies are our two constant inner companions. The part of us that is identified with our humanity is often caught up in the complexities of the world and often has a sense of separation and focus on ourselves. In our human capacity we experience sometimes unpleasant qualities that we would rather tame. The part of us that is aware of our divinity experiences deep peace, a sense of being one with all of life, and is aligned with the mind of God. So, the question becomes: "How do we tame the tendency to feel separate from everyone else, tame the need to conquer, win, and acquire in order to feel good about ourselves? How do we learn to listen to the voice of our Highest Self inviting us to peace? Added: 123 days ago From: Glenda Views: 237 | Comments: 0

Beautiful Problems ~ Rev. Judy, Oct 2,
2011 19:41 Problems are simply energy paving the way to great possibilities. Our work is to cultivate the art of receiving and integrating what comes our way by keeping an open heart until our mind finds clarity. Problems are messages that can become our greatest teachers. Each problem has its own story to tell and its own wisdom to reveal. We are called to trust that a greater intelligence is at work in our lives and find strength by aligning our awareness with the ‘mind of God’. When we open our eyes and look around with an open mind and curious heart, a new world of possibilities reveals itself. This helps us deepen, expand and strengthen our world and life view. Being and Doing ~Rev. Judy, September
25, 2011 16:12 In cultivating awareness, knowing who we are and why we are here, it is important to understand that each of us is the place where being and doing meet ~ where our human walk in the world comes together with the expression of our own divinity. Every step we make, like every breath we take, is a meeting of the inner world of 'being' and the outer world of 'doing'. Every moment of our human journey we are alive in both worlds. If we are unaware of Being, we will seek meaning only within the dimension of doing. Then we run the risk of losing ourselves in whatever we do. When we are aligned with Spirit, remembering our 'Beingness', deep meaning flows through and into whatever we do. Clarity, grace and ease flow through us into the activity of our human walk in the world. Added: 136 days ago From: Glenda Views: 173 | Comments: 0

Who Am I? ~ Rev. Judy Sept. 18, 2011
19:-0 WHO AM I? is a fundamental spiritual question. We usually identify ourselves with some idea ~ something in particular that defines who we are taking ourselves to be. In asking the question, WHO AM I?, we must look beyond the mind, our personality, gender, or any fixed notion of ourselves, beyond what has happened to us, our memories, and personal histories. Most of us Identify with labels or an image or idea ~ an imaginary self. Our invitation is to remember our original face, to see the radiance and divinity that we really are, to take a ‘God’s Eye’ view of ourselves and remember we are stardust. The answer to "Who am I?" is I AM THAT. I am my precious human self and I am the energy of the divine expressing. Added: 143 days ago From: Glenda Views: 253 | Comments: 0
